The Bushly Mile.

A great turn out from the Tewkesbury Running club for the Bushley Mile on Easter Monday and most notably Mungo Park running for the first time and a whole bunch of PBs.

First in for TRC in 5th place was Elliot Parsons in an excellent time for the Bushley Mile of 5.19 minutes PB.

Close behind in 6th place was Jon Mansfield 5.23 superb considering he`d just finished a night shift.

Another great run from Mark Parker coming in well under 6 minutes in 5.39 PB.

Vlad Venglar`s valiant effort just fell short of the magic 6 minute barrier at 6.04 PB (next year Vlad for sure).

First of the TRC ladies was Natalie Jenks in a great time of 6.25 and a course PB.

Wow what a sprint finish from Mr Bolt!!! Aka Chris Duckworth (24 seconds from the bottom of the hill – Strava segment) blew away all the opposition finishing in 6.37 PB.

Dave Aguirre was one of Chris`s victims being ahead at the bottom of the hill, but still with a very respectable time of 6.43 PB.

Then followed a succession of TRC runners battling for positions, Noel Green PB (6.50) just piping Jude Rodrigues PB (6.52) and Suzanne Tharme PB (6.53).

Mungo`s target of a 7 minute mile was achieved with a time of 6.57 and most importantly great to see Mungo racing again.

A gutsy run from John Tharme in a time of 7.10 with another PB.

Carol Cowley in full Marathon Training put in a respectable time of 7.16

Kevin Emmeron enjoying his run finished in 8.09

And finally a grand effort from Samantha Robinson in a fine PB of 8.41
