Offa's Orror

The results are in for this year’s Offa’s Orror, the 20km multi-terrain run. Taking in parts of Offa’s Dyke in the beautiful Wye Valley near Tintern. Infamously tough when the conditions have been wet, so the Tewkesbury trio of Cathy Dudfield, Mark Parker and Stuart Dudfield may have escaped with dry feet but somehow I doubt it!

The pressure to perform is always on Mark Parker after he set a high standard since running with us. To compound things, Mark was up against some strong women and had to settle for a rear view of Nikki Morgan as she beat her second bunch of Tewkesbury runners this month. Mark’s 18th position on such a hard course is commendable and the same can be said for Stuart’s performance as he claimed 41st spot. Cathy found herself an excellent 8th in her competitive FV40 category with a typical pain adsorbing run.
