Worcester Marathon
The big news from Worcestershire is that Ed Hardy conquered his first marathon successfully.
Smooth-running Ed picked a local event to make his debut, it’s not the easiest of courses however, he recorded the best Tewkesbury Run Club time for this year with 3:06 hr. He was on target for sub 3 with a 1:29 half marathon time but we all know the second half tends to be a little bit tougher on the legs!
Phillip Howells ran a precision sub 5 with 4:58
And in the one lap half marathon, Geoff Carson clocked 2:38
