Tewkesbury Running Club once again had great success in this 10 month long road race series held between 12 varying county races - distances ranging from 1 mile to 20 mile. It was always going to be hard to match last year’s success, where the TRC Ladies won both Open and Vet team prizes - but 2019 proved to be a year with more individual medalists - and a surprise but most deserved team prize this year.

Shona Crombie-Hicks has been a regular on the county road race series for many a year and thi...

This year’s popular Christmas charity race over at Evesham attracted some hardy Tewkesbury runners;  the Festive 10km off-road event was held over some very water-logged ground indeed.  Originally called ‘Race for Grace’ to raise funds and then supporting myositis research before the 2019 edition supporting the ‘Children with Cancer UK’ charity.  The venue was again, from Evesham United FC ground and for most runners, it was a festive affair with many donning seasonal fancy dress.

Sunday 24th November 2019

It was perfect running conditions on Sunday for a gentle 6.2 mile jog around the country lanes of Hardwicke and Quedgeley.

Three members of Tewkesbury Running Club donned the Black and Yellowish-gold to tackle the relatively flat course but had a couple of surprising 'hills' to get up and over the motorways bridges.

Two Jolly Joggers stuck together from the start: Sarah Smith (EMMA 1) started to wobble between mile 2 and 3 and Claire Gent persuaded her to keep going.  Ever...

The fabulous Croome Park was the stage for latest event in a great year for the club.  Not only was this the final event in the 'Lord & Lady of the Land' series, but for many it was the curtain for their 2019 races.

This outstanding National Trust gem played host to the popular Croome Capability Canter race; a testing off-road run around the vast grounds of the park. Once again, it was well-organized by Worcester’s Black Pear Joggers and, despite the preceding rain, the course is delightful to ru...

November 1, 2019

The traditional Guy Fawkes 5 course has fallen victim to the infamous Tewkesbury floods - as of Friday morning, there are still lengthy sections still covered in shin deep dirty flood water.

However, there's always a contingency in place for when this happens and we are very happy to say we have an officially certificated and licenced 5 mile course ready to accomate.

Essentially the same in profile; flat with two motorway crossings.  Several runners have tested the course over the last few weeks,...

With over 60 miles of trails winding through rugged and demanding parklands and woodland - it’s no surprise that Land Rover use Eastnor Castle grounds to test their vehicles through the wildest of terrain.

With this in mind, the Relish Running 10K event would be only for the toughest! The course picked the muddiest trails the estate has to offer with natural obstacles and fallen trees to navigate; gullies to cross; hills to climb and of course - lots of mud to roll in!

Tewkesbury sent 6 of the plu...
