Cleevewold 3

In this year’s Cleevewold race a brave three Tewkesbury runners took part.

Taking-in trails over Cleeve Hill standing around 1,000 feet and for most of it, some demanding climbing and descending! In total, 14 miles of hard work.

Cathy Dudfield impressed the most by slicing four minutes of her previous time for the event. In contrast, Stuart Dudfield found it especially tough after the four mile mark. In mitigation, Stuart had spent the previous week working hard at the foot of the hill during the Gold Cup.

Jay Russell completed it in decent shape – still not 100% free from an annoying niggle that has derailed his winter running so he’ll be glad to have passed this test.

Stuart – 2:15 hrs

Jay – 2:23

Cathy – 2:31
