Chedworth Roman Trail

Four from the club made the meandering trip to Chedworth to run in Cirencester AC's tough multi-terrain race. Apart from a couple of country lane sections, it's a challenging rural course including a frightening decent through a wood, a river crossing and a lung busting ascent up another wood and bypassing a busy dairy farm which, of course, means a cow pat or two.

Teresa Roberts was Tewkesbury's strongest runner timing 1:28 hrs ahead of husband Mike with 1:36.

Cathy Dudfield got the better of Mike too with an impressive 1:32.

Wes Reid found sections hard to run though still completed the course in decent shape with 2:07
