Exeter Marathon

Phillip reports from Exeter...

Angie Sadler and myself ran the Exeter Marathon: Well organised, low key event with 310 finishers which was a big increase on last year as this relatively new event catches on. Started at Exeter Football Club (it’s organised through Exeter’s ‘Football in the Community’ initiative) on closed roads through the town centre and then three interesting and scenic laps around the quays and water front. Angie finished in 3-44-13 for 68th place and her 159th marathon, I recorded 5-08-24 in 270th and my 223 marathon.
